more on fear of our feelings...
I can remember years ago working with people and offered unlimited coaching. I had most of my clients calling me with tremendous anxiety, and would say I am feeling afraid or fear. It was a profound remember on how we are fearful of our darker or more unsavory feelings.
I had not read "User Illusion" so I was not very good at explaining or smoothing their ruffled raw feelings. I would like to say now, that the nature of the Mental Body, or consciousness, by nature is most fearful of the entire feeling body. It views the subconscious or feeling body as dangerous, unruly and needs to be dominated at all costs. It is part of its nature, as is the feeling body or unconscious will continually recreate old ways in order to get us into our survival mode, when we are disconnected. Part of what we are here to do is to elevate, through love, our feeling body and mental body, and that will never be accomplished by domination and repression. Would we do that to a child? That is a question I have learned to use with regularity when monitoring my self talk. A young child learning to walk, would require compassion, repetition, and support, yet so many of us will berate ourselves for not getting it right or not doing it right first time out.
If our outer world is an out-picturing of our inner world, we must pay attention and begin exploring where we need to shift our approach rather than becoming positional on how much work we have done and that it is outside ourselves.
Let us seize this extraordinary moment of change, and learn how to dive into the unknown of us and begin accessing our vastness and our greater expression.
If the nature of the conscious mind is one of terror of the subconscious and is limited (capable of only processing16 bits of information per second) in its capabilities, and the subconscious is vast in its capabilities (processes 11,000,000 bits of information per second) yet has no discernment, imagine the power and vastness of that partnership. By building relationship here as well as trust, coupled with a big picture of what is happening between our 3 selves could open the door to our dreams, longings and destiny, and like exercising a muscle become nimble in our ability to manifest and pray.
I feel there are many who are exploring this or feeling the inner nudge to have a deeper understanding on why some of our tools do not work. So much of what we are taught is true, yet we have to be aligned for them to work, and that is accessed by finding new ways of loving and forgiving ourselves. Add in invoking the assistance, knowledge and blueprint of our High Selves on how to do it, our wings might actually unfold.
I began to relax within myself and let go more and more by understanding the distinctions of our 3 selves. It allowed me to understand why memories wold get triggered and an easier way of building trust and stepping into the unknown of who I am. In User Illusion the author talks about the need of the mental body to always figure things out, reduce things to a simple map or system. That way we do not have to step into the unknown. Becoming the terrain opens to door to the richness of who we are as humans, deep fulfillment and nourishment for our lives. This is the Art of Inner Alchemy.
